Nathalie Rottenburg was born in Madrid and at the age of 5, her family moved to São Paulo, where she lived for 25 years and graduated in Architecture and Urbanism from the prestigious Mackenzie University.

At the age of 30, she decided to return to Europe and moved to Barcelona, where she worked for 4 years in the Construction/Interior Design Department at AC Hotels where she began her career in the world of hotel interior design.

For professional reasons, she moved to Madrid to become the Director of the Interior Design Department of the company Cúbika – today IHP Group, where she carried out projects for different national hotel chains, one of them Ilunion Hotels of Grupo Once. There she developed great sensitivity towards Accessible Architecture and Interior Design, so important in the daily life of millions of people with disabilities and many times forgotten.  Design must be always functional and inclusive to all users.

Eager to continue her professional development, she worked for many years as Director of the Interior Design & FF&E Department at Proffetional Group, where she took the big step of developing national and international projects in several countries in America, Europe, and Africa.

Her enthusiasm and passion for the hotel world lead her to set up her own studio: Specialized Contract Design where she has passionately designed customized  refurbishment and new construction projects for different 3, 4, and 5-star hotels.

Each project is a unique world that acquires its own personality, aroma and style, adapted to its architectural and cultural environment, uniting clients' objectives with a contemporary, timeless, and above all, functional interior design, the result of over 22 years of expertise.

Affiliated with the General Council of Official Schools of Decorators and Interior Designers of Spain and Member of the E.C.I.A European Council of Interior Architects, she has also received several International Awards.

It is clear to her that much of her company's success can be attributed to always maintaining direct contact with the client, achieving perfect communication, and “a la carte” projects. Knowing how to listen to the needs of the clients is of the utmost importance, as well as never losing sight of the economic objectives. She always works with her feet on the ground allowing her to transform her ideas into realistic solutions to maximise client satisfaction.
